For the rev heads there are two main events- the Gold Coast Indy which is held in October every year through the streets of Surfers Paradise, and the Wintersun Festival at Coolongatta in June. The Gold Coast has over 70km of beaches, nine times more canals than Venice, and over 300 days of sunshine a year- so the Gold Coast is the ideal place to hit the water!
